Creating an account is free. A current paid filing or active plan includes permit AI, project tracking, encrypted saved signatures and seals, customer-request discovery and contractor introductions. Customer projects depend on real reviewed requests in your coverage and customer approval; a plan does not guarantee leads or improve your match priority. How introductions work.

Per-permit plan rates assume you use the full monthly allowance. The monthly subscription price is charged even when you file fewer permits.

Corrections and resubmissions: $0. If the town requests a correction, we handle the update and resubmission at no additional service charge.

Create an account and send us your first job: the AI permit tools are open, and our $250 filing fee is waived on that permit. One free permit per account and per property address. Nothing is charged automatically. Municipal fees are the town's and are not included. After that, choose a single filing or a monthly plan. Your saved jobs and documents are kept.

One service fee.
The whole filing process.

Your service fee

Town research, application preparation, packet assembly, submission, and status follow-up. Your account keeps the job details and uploaded documents together, and the contractor portal — permit assistant, hand-off, send to the township — comes with a single filing as much as with a plan.

Municipal fees, separately

Municipal permit fees are set by each municipality and paid directly to them. I never mark these up and never take a cut. You get the receipt with your issued permit.

Cards and invoices

Handled by Stripe, so your card details go straight to them and never touch this site. Every payment generates an invoice for your books. Prefer to be invoiced at month end? Just ask.

No surprises

$250 covers any permit, including plan review, so there is no second price to be surprised by. On a monthly plan you always know how many filings you have left before you send one.

Monthly plans

Pick the tier that matches what you actually file. Every plan includes the same work, the same free corrections and the full contractor portal — the AI permit assistant that writes the UCC F100, "have us file it" with a reply within two hours, send to the township, saved jobs, and verified town knowledge. The only thing that changes is how many permits a month and what each one costs you. Everything included, on one page.

Every plan is capped, not metered. Send more than your tier covers and I'll still take the job and hold it — but it won't be filed until your allowance resets or you move up a tier, and I'll call you rather than quietly bill you for it. Already on a plan? Call (201) 912-1778 to change or cancel it.

Questions about pricing

Is the municipal permit fee included?

No. Every municipality sets its own fees based on project type and value, and those are paid to the town. My fee is separate and covers the filing work. I'll tell you the town's fee before you commit so there are no surprises.

How do I know which price my job is?

There is only one: $250, whatever the job needs. Plan review, multiple subcodes and prior approvals are all included. Run it through the free permit checker if you want to know what the town will want before you send it.

Do you charge again if the town rejects it?

No. I fix it and refile at no additional cost. If the town needs something only you, the homeowner, or a design professional can produce, I'll tell you exactly what it is and who has to produce it — and refiling is still free.

Do I have to sign anything or commit to volume?

No contract and no minimum. Pay per permit with no subscription, or take a monthly plan you can cancel any time. Send me one permit a year or one a week. If your volume gets high enough that a monthly rate saves you money, I'll be the one to bring it up.

When do I pay?

At checkout, before you send the job. The permit is filed afterwards, and corrections cost nothing — the town's timeline isn't mine to control. If you'd rather be invoiced monthly across several jobs, that's fine, just tell me.

My town isn't on your list.

Call anyway. Adding a municipality means learning its process from the construction office up, and I do that when a contractor brings regular work there.
