A first read, not a filing. Every municipality runs its own construction office, and the only way to confirm what a specific town wants is to ask them — which is the part I do.

Every permit you send us, in any of our five states, comes with this.
We build a file on each municipality as we file there — how they take submissions, what they require up front, and what they send back. Don't see your town? Call us. We add towns when a contractor brings us steady work there.
No. New Jersey has no state license for permit filing. Construction permits are administered at the municipal level, and the state construction permit application includes an agent section for an applicant filing on the owner's authorization. New York City is different — filing there requires registration with the Department of Buildings.
Yes — in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Delaware too, at the same prices. In New York the city, town or village issues the permit; New York City jobs are prepared for a licensed professional or registered filing representative to file in DOB NOW. In Connecticut the town's building official issues it. In Pennsylvania the municipality issues it, unless it opted out of the Uniform Construction Code; then the Department of Labor & Industry issues commercial permits and the owner hires a certified third-party agency for residential work. In Delaware the town or the county issues it, depending on where the job is.
No. We prepare and submit paperwork. You remain the licensed or registered contractor of record, you sign and seal your own subcode technical sections, and the work is yours. We are an administrative agent, nothing more.
$250 flat for any residential permit — roofing, HVAC, water heater, service upgrade, windows, renovations, additions — with plan review and multiple subcodes included. Filing every week? Monthly plans of 5, 10 or 25 filings bring it down to as little as $100 a permit. Pay per permit with no subscription at all, or take a plan and cancel any time. Corrections and resubmissions are free. Municipal fees are separate and paid to the town, never marked up. Full pricing.
If it comes back, we fix it and resubmit at no charge — ours or the town's. If the town needs something only you or the homeowner can provide, we tell you exactly what it is and who has to produce it.
We aim to have a packet ready for your signature within one business day. After that it's the town's timeline, not ours — but a complete packet filed the way that office prefers is the single biggest thing that shortens it.
Call anyway. Adding a municipality means learning its process, which we do when a contractor brings us regular work there.
